A great night for baseball, especially if you brought water, and the make shift Met's came out on top against the Peppers by the score of 14-0. A special thanks to my former A's team mates Ed Class and Dave Scillinger for coming to help at the last minute and thanks to Eddy O for being understanding. Led By Lex Herrlett who pitched a 4 hit Shut Out and made it easy in the field. On offense he led the attack with 2 hits and a walk , Tommy Smith went 3-4 and Eddy Class went 3-4 as well. No problem Jim - Peppers have needed to borrow some players a few times this season - I know what it's like. We had most of our guys there last night and you still beat the snot out of us. Ouch. Good luck the rest of the way - you guys could be dangerous in the playoffs.
