Mets Vs Orioles

The Mets came out on the short end last night by the score of 7-4. Overall a hard fought game by both teams. Danny Maynard put us on top in the first with a long solo shot. They tied in the bottom of the 2nd. We went a head 2-1 in the top of the 3rd and they scored 3 in the bottom on a couple of hits and a couple of errors. they plated 2 more to make it 6-2 we scored to make it 6-3 in the 5th, we left bases loaded in the 6th and they scored a insurance to make it 7-3. In the 7th we loaded the bases with no outs and had the big 4and 5 guys coming up. Unfortunately, we didn't come through.2 outs mark meyers walked to make it 7-4 and we grounded out to end the game. Another dog fight on Wed @ rotterdam @615.

Mike, It was Seaver vs. Mcinally....just kidding. I saw the other day a mention of the Senator team....that was a good memory of a team filled with lots of talent... I saw Vanwormer the other day and told him to dust off his glove for 2008

Mario, Mike & all the ex-Senators

I believe when we were all playing for the Senators there was only 48 States. Maybe we can get Ricky "Chico" Bernardo Bail Bonds to sponsor a new Senators team. Where did that guy go? What a great hitter!!!

Senators were the best hitting team by far this league has seen, Sohl, Phelan, Heck, Girard, Stark, Bernardo, Van Wormer, Cooney....... and i think that was the bottom of the order. I remember playing that team at the old Whitehall BR with our backs on the fence. Jim Bouton pitched. funny, aluminum bats and 200 down the lines. course i saw once where "The" Bill Jones threw a shutout there against another hard hitting Troy ALe House Yankees team. Rafferty, Quackenbush, Mahar, DiNova.....Mike Kravitz you were on that team....
