Hail to the Yankees, the new champions of the over 47 division. The league is fortunate to have such a fine group as champions. Every guy on the Yankees is quality. They are good sports and gentlemen about the game. They are good natured and make even game a pleasure. Beyond that, they play great baseball. They outplayed the defending champion Marlins, winning two straight, and distinguished themselves as clearly the best team out there.
my congratulations to the yanks on a great year, and winning the championship of the 48 league. These fellas played extremely well when it mattered the most and deserve to be called the champs. They also showed great sportsmanship on and off the field and should be commended for that as well. Hats off to you guys. Can't wait for next year to start. Hey baseball!!
I'll add my congradulations too... although it's never fun losing, losing to such a talented and gracious team as the Yankees makes it palatable... The Yankee batting order is strong up and down and everyone contributes making it a nightmare to pitch agasint them... but next year the rivalry continues and more good ball will be played... great series to the Yanks - all gentlemen and fine sports....
It seems all championships must go through the Marlins. You are gracious in defeat as you are in victory. Your team never gave up and almost pulled it out in the last inning. It has been great playing with and against you these many years. I wish all the best and a great winter to lick your wounds. You'll be back fighting for that championship next year, I'm sure.
