I'm interested in joining a 47 for th 08 season and up team. Last year was my first year back playing baseball for the Shaskys. A great bunch of guys. I had some health issues and my play was very limited and i was ill-prepared and i was not able to contribute as much as i wanted to. Since Dec 15th of 07, I have been training hard and I would to pitch or play outfield. I pitched in high school and played college baseball for NY Tech in the 80's. I intend to start to take pitching lessons at Frozen Ropes and I;m available for tryouts anytime. I can be reached @ 518-320-0410 or craig@stratocommcorporation.com:
Craig, This is Mike Eplite, manager of the 2007 champion (47's) Yankees. I saw your e mail on our website, so I thought I'd contact you. The Yankees should be having a workout around Feb 10th at All Stars Academy. I'd like to have a look at you, see ifyou could hook on with us. We have 2 pitchers that won 11 games between them in 2007, but still could use an arm to eat up innings. Plus, if it worked out, we could start you in 3-4 games during the season. Give me a call to discuss when you can. I can be reached at 275-0610 or 331-0186. A suggetstion, I would suggest All Stars Academy to work out and take instruction. See Mike Szerbalik, he's the owner. Frozen Ropes, in my experience isn't the best place to train. Just my opinion. All Stars is well lighted, and a much larger facility and better atmosphere to work in.
