Out of Retirement - Looking for a 37+ Team

After a short 5 year retirement, I am back, in search of a team. When i saw the likes of Jim Ansel got inducted into the hall, I felt i had to come back and see if he really did have anything left. Anybody interested give me a call. I'm pretty sure I can still play a little bit.

Dave,
Glad to hear that you are ready to make a comeback!
The Cubbies ar moving from the 28+ division to the 35+ division this year and they could use a few good men. I am playing with the Marlins because I have been with them since playing in this age group 7 years ago. The Maney boys are playing with the Cubs and you would fit in great. If you are interested, e-mail Jim McQuade @ jmcquade@nycap.rr.com.

Davey Boy:

There is a new 55+ league starting this year; contact John Reel for more information.

Seriously; nice to see you are coming back to give it another go. See you on the field.

Ansel by the way is still tough, watch for the changeup with two strikes.

You do make a point, Dave. As word gets out that I'm in the Hall of Fame, players could be coming out of the woodwork with bats in hand. But, I do have Starkie mutting about changing up on him in an All Star game. He missed that pitch by two feet.

Welcome back. It is a great league. Have a hoot. Any team would be lucky to have you.

Jim Ansel

I meant "muttering", not "mutting". More coffee. Less painkillers and beer.

Nice to finallyy see a post from you Jim, I thought maybe you were offended by my comment!! I look forward to seeing you guys again. By the way, I've hooked up with the Cubs this time around, so I'll see you soon.

I had Dave signed under contract with the Orioles but he opted out because he wanted playing time and we are already loaded at First base. He didn't really say that, BUT you could imagine him saying it though. Dave got in me in league 12 years ago with the Senators and I'm glad I could return the favor.
P.S. Cubbies: Dave is in shape, (Round is a shape? Right) Only Kidding !!
Good Luck, WormBurner...............
