The Pirates and A's participated in a classic pitcher's duel tonight at New Scotland. Mike Kane and Bucky Kruzinski both pitched complete games. The Pirates loaded the bases with no one out in the 1st but Kruzinski closed the door getting the next three batters with an infield popup and two K's. A well played defensive game with I believe only one error each on both sides. The A's scored one in the 4th and were tied by the Pirates in the 5th. The A's were able to again score one in the bottom of the 6th and Shut down the Pirates in the top of 7.
