A beautiful night for baseball last night In Scotia and The Mets came out on top of The A's by the score of 14-5. Dan Maynard ran his record to 4-0 on the mound and led the hit parade going 4-4 with a walk and had a long stand up triple. (no fence). Eric Duemler 2 hits,Bobby Burns 2 hits, Ryan Johnson 2 hits, and a few others with hits as well. On Defense the Mets turned 2 doulble plays as well. Good luck to my former team mates the rest of the way. For the A's haff a long triple, and the schilly brothers 1 hit a piece. I'm sorry Eddy , had a nice single as well.
