A special thanks to Darrel Duncan for saving the day, another game that would have been cancelled at suny was moved to a beautifully groomed New Scotland field.The Mets bested the Hummers by the score of 9-2 behind the strong pitching of Chris Dunn who got the win and strong relief from Lex Herrlett. On offense, Tony ( Canseco ) Parella homered and singled, Burns 2 hits , bonaparte 2 hits, Johnson 2 hits and a walk and good defense at third. Also Dunn had 2 hits. Also Tony Skrabs playing curtesy runner scored a few times and got myself a stolen base and for Dunn as well. On defense Tony made a diving catch and threw a runner out at home by 15 feet on a single to center. For the hummers walker singled Earl singled, Hawkins singled and Martin hit a nice double. Good luck to the Hummingbirds the rest of the way and we'll see ya at Gruner in a couple weeks for the rematch.
