I received a letter from the Village of Cooperstown with a list of open slots for games at Doubleday Field. Dates are from now through Thursday Sept. 25.
As of now, the only weekend dates left are Sunday Aug. 10 at 10 a.m.; Sat. Aug. 30 at 5 p.m.
There are, however, many weekday slots available. If anyone is interested in scheduling a game there, I can give you the details. I'm not looking to organize a team or teams to go there. Just letting CDMSBL know.
It's $500 a game plus $140 for umpires. The $500 is the village's full fee.
