On a pleasant evening at West Albany, the Highlanders edged the Shaskys 5-1 in a tight game which moved along at a brisk pace. Kalinski was the winning pitcher and Weitz was the losing pitcher. I have read some of the comments about the field and have to say that, regardless of personal sentiments, the field was in good shape after all the rain. The League had even dragged the field, so that raking and some dryer were all that were needed.
