It turned out to be a nice night for baseball at West Albany and the Mets beat the Braves by the score of 11-2. The ageless Artie started for the braves and Will Manvueta started for the Mets and recorded his 1st win with relief help from Tom Bradley and Mike Bintz. The Mets had some nice hitting stars led by Lance "Amtrak" Meeson hitting a long homerun into the train tracks and Tony Skrabs going 3-3. Ryan Johnson continued his hot hitting with 2 hits Chris Dunn a couple of hits and Lex Herrlett 2 hits as well. We enjoyed our first trek into West Albany and really enjoyed the environment. Good luck to the Braves and see ya again next week. Jim Bonaparte Mets 12-4
