Blue Thunder 11, Dodgers 4

Hello again sports fans, welcome to CDMSBL Sports Center. I'm Bob Lounsbury, General Manager of Blue Thunder reporting to you via the internet with a recap of the game held last night at the Voorheesville Field between the 3-7 Dodgers and 5-8 Blue Thunder. With the 8-hit, 3 BB, 1 K pitching of Bob Weitz and the terrific 0-hit, 0 BB, 4 K relief job from Pete LaFlamme, Blue Thunder improved to 6-8 with an 11-4 victory over the Dodgers who now stand at 3-8. Very close game till the darkness started to settle in. In fact, the game was so intense at one point, even the fans could not sit down anymore, it doesn't get any better than this. Ed Rogers pitched a complete game for the Dodgers and was assisted with a long ball attack led by hits from Mr. Clemens (triple and a double and Mr. Lapinelli (double). Blue Thunder did strike for 5 runs in the bottom of the fifth but the game was called with when the Dodgers completed their top of the sixth inning. Thank you to the Dodger team, they always continue to play a gentlemans game of baseball. See you guys in the playoffs.
