Sunday at Satellite, the Yankees defeated the pesky Vets 14-9. Kevin Jackson got the win, going six and allowing only 2 runs for his 3rd straight pitching victory.
On the offensive side, Paul Celentano, Wayne Newcomb and Mike Eplite chipped in with 2 hits each, and Steve Vangelder/Paul Celentano knocked in 3 runs each. Wayne Newcomb also scored 4 runs in the Yankees victory.
