... This year's HR Derby is open to all CDMSBL players. It will take place Saturday Oct. 4 between games of the All-Star Challenge.
You don't have to be an All-Star selection to enter.
Start time is approximately 2 p.m.
Bring your own pitcher or use someone at the park. I will be available as well. And Mike Girard won it twice with me throwing to him. (I promise not to take a cut!)
$10 entry fee. Winner takes all.
Each hitter earns 1 point for a HR using a metal bat and 2 points for each HR using a wood bat. Twelve swings each.
Please email me to register so we can have an idea how many contestants we will have. I also need a money collector, scorekeeper and someone to introduce the players as they come to bat.
