Once again, for the second week in a row, we were able to get enough guys to play baseball. Today's players were from the 25's, the 35's, and the 45's divisions in the CDMSBL. After all day yesterday and last night's torrential downpour, we were lucky to find a playable field like the one at South Gate Middle School. The batter's boxes were literally 3-4 inches of mud. The common denominator of all these men that showed up on a beautiful Sunday afternoon was trying to get one more game in before Old Man Winter shuts us down till the Spring. Great bunch of guys, lotta fun, and who knows, we might even get in a game somewhere next weekend. Thanks again for a great time.
