As some of you may know I am a teacher at the New Covenant Charter School in Arbor Hill. As of the other day I had countless parents approach me about there lack of money and there children not having anything for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is so sad to hear this coming from a single parent who has 3 kids and they are good kids. I myself will be supplying 1 family with a turkey, some veggies and other Thanksgiving foods to get them by for the holiday. I have been asking other venues like the toys for tots, price choppers and or Hannafords to see what they can do as well. As a man trying to do something right for someone in need I am asking players in our league who may have some extra change laying around or would like to help me in my quest to feed the needy. Another teacher in my school and I took on this tough task with the notion that no child will be left without a meal on the table and a toy under their tree. PLease Help!

Q, I will contact you in getting you some donations before Christmas. I also forwarded your note to some friends at the Albany Community Outreach and the Albany PAL. I may also be able to get you a Thanksgiving meal before Thursday...I will let you know Mario
