Helping families for the Holiday's

As some of you read previously that I am a teacher and coach at the New Covenant Charter School. I along with another man at my school have taken it upon ourselves to do what we can to make sure the kids and their families are fed and receive gifts for Christmas. I know my Thanksgiving notice was not a long enough period of time but I still got Great support from Mario, Cannon, The 35 A's team and many others. My school is in debt to all that helped.

What we are looking to have donated...................

Money (I would send my wife to get gifts)
Food (can goods, turkey's, milk, eggs, anything we can use to feed families)
Toys - wwe action figures, transformers, gi joe, games, etc
Clothes-Ages 5-12

Anything you can do for us would be appreciated. My number is 701-1014. My email is quentinjensen19@aol.com.

School address is 50 North Lark, Albany, NY 12210 if anyone wants to deliver or send stuff here.

Thanks for your time and consideration

My wife and I in for at least a turkey and the fixings.

Hey, there is a Steve & Barry's in Colonie Center. They have bunches of jackets, sweatshirts and stuff that kids think would be cool for about $8 an item. So, while you're out Christmas (or your Holiday of faith) shopping, grab some of this stuff and let's see if we can't stuff Q's "sled".

Q - Thank you for what you did Thanksgiving and continue to do. Thanks also to those who contributed anything - time, goods, cash, whatever - to the cause. You can either waste time thinking about what you lack, or consider yourself lucky for what you have and give back. Let's all choose the latter.

Thanks for the kind words tommy.

We have had some support so far but not enough. Every little bit helps. Whether it be money, gifts or food all is needed to serve the 100 families we are trying to bring christmas too. Each family has at least 4 siblings with a single mom or dad raising them. Like tommy said think about what we have and how fortunate we are to have a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes to wear and someone there to love us each and every day. The kids at my school some do not have any of this and I vowed to do whatever it took to make their christmas a meaningful one. I have donated alone 500 dollars and Mr. Cannon and a few others have also contributed with money and food. Anything you can give would help please show others that CDMSBL cares!

Please help!
