To the average player March 1st may not mean much, but to your manager its the date he must submit a deposit to the league for your team. He then must continue collecting player fees till april 1 when the team fee balance is due. I know many if not most managers pay these fees up front to avoid late charges. Please don't rely on your manager to pay your dues. One idea: contact him today and at least make a partial payment and explain your plan to pay him in a mutually tolerable way. Another idea: For those of you more fortunate offer to help finance these fees so one guy doesn't carry the load. We ask alot of managers in this league, lets not have them be our lenders too.
John, thanks for the post. Year in, year out, for some reason, it's always a task in collecting from players. It's difficult enough, both managing and playing. any players need to realize this.
