No, this is not some sick and twisted way to get a date (I'm very happily married). There is a new film coming out about a high-rolling lawyer (played by Reese Witherspoon) who is dating a Washington Nationals relief pitcher (played by Owen Wilson - who could probably pitch better than most everyone currently in the Nats bullpen).

The director is looking for women aged 20-26 who play softball because apparently Ms. Witherspoon's character plays in a women's league and they're looking to round-out the teams.

There's a write-up about where to send your information:

I moved here from Washington, DC and I can say it's a great place to work if you're an actor and more and more television shows and big-time films are using Washington as a location. Good place to network if that's your style.

I am the past Commissioner of the Capital Region Women's Fast Pitch Softball League... this is an open division and many of our players played D1... where is the shoot?
