The Hornets banged out 16 hits on their way to an 11-3 win yesterday at New Scotland Town Park.
Chris Abrams threw the first four innings to run his record to 2-0 on the year allowing 5 hits and two runs.
Offensively Ron Smaka banged out a double and three singles, in the four Hornet wins this year Ron has 11 hits. Dick Stark had a Home Run, two singles and 5 rbi. Mike Labanowski and Bob Bolt each had a pair of hits.
Matt Kelly had a long two run triple for the Blue Thunder, Tim Brown a double and their leadoff hitter Stapp had a pair of line drive singles.
The Thunder and Hornets square off again this weekend at 11:30am on Sunday.
