quick note for anybody thinking of dropping off equipment tonight (tuesday) for donations to roberto's kids at new scotland field: i can't make it (and rain may also be a factor) but the following dates and times are good if that's convenient for you:
WED. 6/10 - Shaskys-Mets , Burnt Hills H.S. (6 pm) SUN. 6/14 - Vets-Yankees, Voorheesville Satellite Field (2:30 pm) MON. 6/15 - Shaskys-Blue Jays, Bob Moore Stadium (5:45 pm)

the principal donation date is father's day, sunday june 21st, at the league's first father-son games at new scotland field. steve and lisa pindar, who run roberto's kids, plan to pick up the equipment between 1:30 and 2 pm, so please try to bring your donations before then. i expect to be there by noon.
steve tells me that the organization also accepts softball equipment and metal bats.
i'm pleased to say that rob currier gave us a huge, santa-sized bag of catcher's equipment last night at the shaskys-braves game. thank you rob.
