Led by the outstanding pitching and hitting combo of Andy Sardella (CG, 3 hits, 6K's)and Dave Zebrowski (1B, 2B, 3B, 2RBI's), the A's have finally made it back to the start of the season - an even record of 6-6-1.

Andy had great command throwing a complete game with 6 K's and worked with great economy making each pitch count and not wasting any time. Wayne Kareem Abdul-Newcomb and George Not David Schillinger also had two hits apiece for the A's.

Artie Gianakos threw a complete game against his former teammates for the Braves, victimized by a tough 3rd inning when the A's scored 5.

Dewaria had 2 hits and Hunt had a single and a walk for the Braves.
