hat's off to the yank's who played an excellent ballgame yesterday. what is not mentioned by mike are the outstanding plays made by their left fielder and by their right fielder. those 3 catches saved at least 3-4 runs alone. don dunham threw out 2 of our baserunner's attempting to steal 2nd also. P.S.-- they beat me like an old rug when I was trying to hold them down. Again boy's, congrats. P.S.S.-- I would be remiss if I did not mention Skip Treece's catch in center field. I am still shaking my head how an 87 year old man can do the things he does.biggrin.gif

Pete, thanks for adding that info. Just didn't want to take up all the remaining space on our website.
Yes, Skip went a long way, and I mean long!!! Ed Scrieber made two gems, and 64 year old Brad Buchan made a key catch for the Yanks in RF, could have turned the game around without it.
Oh, I should have added BIG D DUNHAM's outstanding game behind the plate, and at the plate. I've been waiting for him to come alive after 5 games. Believe me, I know Donnie won't let me forget his special day!!!!
These are the kind of games that make the league better. Also, Hornets/Thunder played some tight ball the game after our's. This is what parity is about, spreading the talent among other clubs.
