I would like to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who placed such heartfelt messages on the bulletin board; stopped by the funeral home during calling hours; called me to express their condolences and for all those who took a moment to give thoughts or prayers for my Moms passing. I am very touched by everyones concern. You all gave me strength knowing that you care and made this past week much more bearable. Both my mother and father loved baseball and were always a big part in my involvement in the game. All of us in CDMSBL, including all of our family and friends, have something very special by being part of this baseball organization. It goes way beyond the game we are able to play, which in itself is a huge gift. There is a support structure around us that warms our hearts. Thank you for letting me be part of it.''
