If you come to the home page on the site all the standings are posted there for everyone to see. I do my best to update them ASAP as soon as I get the scores. If you can do me a favor just in case you send it to your division commish or the person who updates your division site if you could also copy me or send me an email or text telling me who won and what division it would help me out a ton.
There are SEVERAL teams in the 35+ division who are WAY behind on submitting their statistics. With all of the rainouts and all of the schedule confusion resulting from these rainouts, it is IMPERATIVE that managers get the numbers and results in ASAP.
I need to know if games are rained out, I need to know scores, but most importantly for my job is that I NEED THOSE STATS. It is patently unfair to those teams who are submitting numbers in a timely fashion. This will only work if everyone gets on board with this.
Managers: If you cannot perform these rather tedious and mundane tasks, find someone who is MS Excel literate on your team and give them the numbers to submit to me. Or do what other managers have done and see if a player's wife or family member may be willing to do it. There are 12 year old kids who know how to use this program and how to use e-mail. IT'S REALLY SIMPLE.
I have a lot going on in August and I will not have the time to go back and get all the numbers you have failed to get to me over the course of the season. PLEASE WORK ON THIS THE SECOND YOU READ THIS POST. I will not try to chase you down anymore. This is your responsibility. I'm not getting paid and as such I don't have the time to find you.
Here is an update for the Silver Marlins: the only game that we played, that you do not have stats for, is the Monday June 29th game vs the Orioles. The reason I haven't sent you any information on that game is because the game is under protest. The last inning was started after the curfew, so I have to wait to se if that inning is going to count before I send you any stats. As soon as the board has rendered its decision on the protest, I will send you those statistics. Any other games that have been scheduled and you don't have statistics for, for the Marlins, are rainouts. Hopefully the rainy season is over here in the wonderful Capital District and we can get these games in in the next 4-5 weeks.
For All Divisions, courtesy of the 55 Division Website:
Here is a stats sheet that you can download, fill out on your computer, and e-mail it as an attachment ---OR print it out, fill it out longhand, and snail mail it:
Also to make it easy in the 45 division I have the guys just send me a email that says
rob currier 3 ab 1 rs 1 hit (then anything else they may do)
this makes it easier and you dont have to be computer savy to do it.
What I will do is update the standings the best I can not knowing if games are cancelled. I will try to look at division standings as well each day to see updates. I believe the only division that sends me updates is the 35's and like you said some dont do it at all. I get the updates for the 25's because i play in it and the 45's come to me with most of the teams. I have to check the web sites of the 18's and 55's to get results.
Its not a tough concept I wish guys would get on the band wagon and understand that this makes the division web sites so much better.
