My name is Dave Doherty and I am registered with MSBL, I currently play in the 38+ Newhampshire Mens baseball League as well as the Lowell Massachusetts over 30 baseball league, I also just played in the Portland maine Downeast wood bat Classic tourney recently.
the reason I am contacting you was, I have been looking to get involved in a tourney in my region and noticed you have one coming up in albany,thru the MSBL site,I do not have a team from my area interested in playing in this tourney however I was wondering if it would be possiable for myself to get into the tourney somehow, i do not know your specific rules or guidelines for this but was wondering if you could help me get involved in the tourney and perhaps link up with a team,if you could help I would appreciate it. I really love to play the game and dont mind traveling to play ball, any help or guidence on what I need to do to get on a team would be appreciated.
I am interested in hooking up with a team for the tournament as well...........I am playing with the 35 Braves and 45 Marlins......i have been fortunate enough to get off to a good start, have been hitting well, was on top of the 35's for a while and am still near the top of the batting average leaders in the 35's.
I am a 2nd baseman by trade, more natural in the infield but can play anywhere other than pitcher or catcher.
