played a game at Kinderhook field last night in the 55 division. I am wondering why we are using a field that is in such terrible condition . Talked to a fella from out that way and he explained that once little league stops no-one takes care of it. Grass and weeds 2-3 inches high in the basepaths and where the infielders stood. The mound was an outright mess, as was home plate with a large hole and tears in it. This is unacceptable and I know that I speak for many others when I say that something must be done so that this Kinderhook field is either fixed or a new site chosen.
P.S.- I know we have a few of our baseball brothers who are from out that way and I'm sure that we can get something done concerning this issue.
