With all of the stinkin rainouts this year i have gotten back into mountain biking....perfect thing to do when we get rained out and by then by 630 it's stopped raining and there are a couple of hours of daylight left.
Check out www.capitalmtb.org - great local site that lists tons of trails etc....we rode the trails out near thacher park after tuesday's monsoon and had a blast.
john, thanks for the link. i didn't even know that site existed. i like to try to ride (very much a novice), but it's hard to find the time playing in teh 25s every weekend and having a family. where are the trails near Thatcher Park?
There are all sorts of trails at Thacher............any of the parking lots on the left as you drive through the park have trails. There are also great trails off of Old Stage Road as well.........you can park at a little parking area there and ride for miles.
