Playoff Seeding

I was looking at the schedule for the remaining 45 playoff games and noticed that the A's are already penciled in as the 3-seed to play the Hornets in the Semi's.

It was my understanding that the Marlins finished ahead of the A's in the regular season standings because of the tie-breaker and that teams are re-seeded for the semis based on regular season record.

If that's the case and the Marlins make it through their remaining first round games, wouldn't the Marlins go into the semi's as the 3-seed and play the Hornets while the A's would be the 4-seed and play the Thunder?

Does that sound right? Just curious. Maybe someone can help straighten me out.

I put the A's there because I already have 2 teams in and I needed a spot to put them without changing things. Right now with only 3 teams in the semi's the A's would be the 3 seed.

Alot of people have already asked about this either getting nervous or just wanting to question someone. This is why I did it.

An example would be if the Marlins make the semi's they become the 3 seed and the A's the 4. If the Yankees made the semi's the Yankees are the 4 seed and the A's the 3.

If guys want me to erase it because it may not happen I will. Don't really see the problem!

Thanks for your concerns
