... Another World Series ring for Tom Maney. His team won the 50+ Division in Arizona this past week, going 5-1 in the round robin, losing only to Texas. Then in the playoffs, Tom's team won 2 games Friday and capped it off by beating that same Texas team for the title on Saturday by a score of 2-1. Congrats to a class guy and a CDMSBL Hall of Famer. It was an incredibly exciting week of baseball, great weather, and great friends. To end the week getting sized for your World Series ring, is an experience I wish for everybody in our league .
Wow! nice job Tom and Ted. you guys make it sound easy! though i can bet the 2-1 game was tense and well played. what's that three rings? fist full ! hey and good luck to all going to Arizona and Florida. I know Jay Hayner went down for two weeks of ball playing 60+ and 65+ tournies. And we have a contingent of two teams going to Florida , one headed by Art Gianakos (45+) and one by Don Wixon (52+) . Be nice to post the rosters here.
Tom and Teddy give any team a chance to win it all, but a second World Series together has got to be real SPECIAL!!!! Enjoy the celebration!!!
Good luck to all Florida travelers. You will have to report back to those of us who aren't going. I am interested to see what you all think of the switch to the Atlantic coast, after all the years going to Clearwater.

Great to see all the nice kind words about mane as usual. Not too many people can or have anything bad to say about one of the classiest guys on the ball field i have ever met..
tommy pulled up lame in the first game and sat out the second ...From then on he was basically lights out with out his normal basestealing game..We dont win without Tommy. it is tommy and my 3rd national championship together but he and i would really be fortunate to share a ring together with the guys from CDMSBL. I know you just got one a couple of years ago but it would still be awesome to share one with the guys i grew up with playing Twilight etc as well as CDMSBL...
Tommy can tell you how much it means to me to come home Labor Day just to play ball in the LD tourney.
We are at this point in our lives blessed to be able to even walk out there and play!! Tommy is as deserving as anyone i know to be a HOF and it showed this past week in Phoenix as he led the team in hitting, jokes and of course dip!!

Jay Hayner was reporting your results real time to me Saturday afternoon. He was producing well and enjoying himself as well out there in 60+.......Joe Romero and I are looking forward to his mail on 65+ results this week.

Nothing from Doc yet i thing they should fare pretty well but it is just somthing that when its over as you know you look back and say we won some games we shouldnt have and lost maybe vice versa but if youre standing on the mound on Saturday after 9 innings it dont matter...Best to all of you in Florida!!!
