banquet awards

is there anyway that the folks in charge of selecting what kind of awards are handed out look into a different type other than a statue of a young boy swinging a bat? Last year i was fortunate enough to win the Bill Jones pitching award and recieved aforementioned statue. just think a plaque would have been more appropriate. as a grown manbiggrin.gif, a statue of a kid swinging a bat for a pitching award does not cut it. same with MVP award, etc. can we take a look at this ?
p.s.
my bill jones statue has hit the ground 5 times in the last year, resulting in a broken right arm. coincidence? i don't think so!

thanks lil'q. by the way, me and jerry solomon want to pitch on an 18 team. who do we need to convince that this is not a joke? and they cant use metal bats either. let 'em play the game like men play it.if these fellas wanna use a metal bat, let 'em go play softball with the rest of the common rabble.

Peace on earth

Good will to men

I remember playing right field for the Yankees when Jerry would pitch so hard that the batters lucky enough to hit it would always swing late and pop it right up to me. As far as Pete, I remember him striking me out and it felt like I was just struck out by the drummer from Led Zeppelin. That would be cool even if they played just a few games with the 18 year old CDMSBL members.
