just curious,
how does a player like Bill Pelton, who hit .516 for the platinum marlins, not make the all-star team in the 55 division? there is something wrong there. maybe next year we can give the voting for such awards to the players in the league, instead of the managers, some of whom seem to have their own agendas.

How do people with no stats posted get choosen to a team?I think our system leaves something to be desired.

I can tell you that in the 25's we are looking at incorporating fielding stats which make the league awards a total body of work rather then just a hitting award.

I like your point about a player who has no stats posted winning an award is a tough call.

I guess it just seems to me that it's always the same guys getting these awards.I think a lot of the people that have votes don"t look at stats and just look at names. Also I dont think when you are only giving out a limited number of awards that you should have 1 team having 7 or 8 players getting awards.Thats just my thoughts.I think we do need to have a different system, maybe as Pete said, let the players choose.Enough ranting.Merry Christmas to all and to all Good Night.
