Dead computer!

Help! I got the dreaded blue screen of death on our 4 yr. old Dell the other day. Happened just after some windows updates - go figure. Haven't had any prior freeze-ups or the usual harbingers of doom.

Rather than wait a month for Best Buy, is there anyone out there that can take a look at the machine? I'd be happy to bring it to your location, otherwise we're in Stephentown (near Leb Vly Speedway). Will pay cash.
Thanks much

Tommy,
I have a great guy who works on my computers.
He is retired from being the head of IT for Eden Park nursing homes.
Call him @ (518) 783-5056 or (518) 461-3999.
He has worked miracles with some pretty badly damaged computers for me and my family.

GOOD LUCK!

tom,
there is also a place that may be a little closer for you,ABI computers. they are on Hoosick st., just as you come of alt. Rt.7 and start to go up the hill towards RPI. they are right across from stewart's on the same side of the street. hadj@abicomputers.com or www.abicomputers.com. they are inexpensive and do a great job. 270-9933 or 2709934.
pete
p.s.-may be able to help you right over the phone

Tommy,

The best solution for you is to take a baseball bat to that Windows machine and go out and get a Mac. You will never look back!
