Indeed! A perfect game. That's what our very own Tony Nardacci did Tuesday night. But as we all know, he's not a pitcher.
At the Action Bowling Lanes on March 2, Hornets teammate Jim Whitford watched Tony roll the 300 perfecto as part of the group's weekly league games.
As Jim described it, "I am proud to say that I was there bowling right behind him last night and every shot in that last game was perfect.
"He was wearing one of my brothers Pop Warner championship shirts, which obviously brought him good luck not to mentioP the fact that I was filling in for my brother at the timeall of the stars appeared to be aligned last night.''
Jim refers to his brother Bobby, who the week before passed away at the age of 45 from a heart failure while at Brandt Lake. Jimmy wasn't on the bowling team, but Tony had asked Jim to fill in for his brother for the last three weeks of the season.
Funny how life works. Congrats Tony. Bobby is smiling down on both of you. JimK
Thanks Mike and (Both) Jim's Yes, It was my first 300 game. I rolled it with my ancient Ebonite ball and a few? Budweiser's in me. I was definitely inspired by some kind of divine intervention. If you ever knew Jim Whitford's brother and one of my best friend's who passed away suddenly Feb 18th he would be laughing his ass off as he congratulated me. One Hell of Guy!
Hopefully see all you guys Saturday Night at the Banquet.
