Darrell Duncan made his WhizKids debut by striking out 9 and allowing only 1 unearned run in pitching a complete game victory over the shorthanded Hornets. Darrell helped his own cause, going 3-3 with 3 RBI to lead a 12 hit attack. The WhizKids had a lead of 2-1 after 4 innings, but scored 4 runs in the 5th and 4 more in the 7th to secure the win. We all wish a speedy recovery to Hornets cf Sorvari who injured his shoulder in the 1st inning while chasing a fly ball.
