At my seven-year-old's little league game this week, a parent approached me asking about the league I was playing in and asked if he could check in and get playing next year. I asked what division he'd qualify for and like to play for and he said the 55's so I directed him to the website and to this thread on the bulletin board in particular saying that there was a team looking for players this year.
He seemed interested in giving it a shot. I hope he forgives me for forgetting his first name but his last name should be Fisher (since his daughter's last name is Fisher). Please give him a try.
If he's half as good a hitter and fielder as his daughter is he'll definitely be able to hold his own.
the hawks need players?? how can that be?? didn't the hawks turn down a couple of folks who would have been more than happy to play any role needed by the team?. oh well, too bad.
