burnt hills was the back drop for the game between thses 2 teams ,one too familiar with JJ pearsall. (Yes that is a period Tom) Shakys got off to a good start with lead off hitter getting their 1st hit of the game to a vacant 2nd baseman position , for our 9th player was stuck on rte 50 in traffic and was slightly delayed getting there. Unfortunately for the Shasky's, it was their only hit, JJ not having pitched in a week looked strong striking out 16, giving up 1 walk and 1 hit. For the Yankees they scored 9 runs on 13 hits, 8 stolen bags, and a few errors by the shasky's. Tom bradley helped the hitting attack of the yanks goin 4 for 4 with a stolen base, JJ 2 hits and a stolen base, duemler, robertson, clement ,Johnson all contributed with hits and stolen bases to bring the Yankees to victory. Mike G I didnt mention my name ONCE lol fun game and SHasky's played with alot of heart and class
Super job Lex. If you could just look up the name of the guy that got that one hit and include it next time, you might some day make guru status. The Cubbies are looking forward to our rematch game Saturday, July 10th at New Scotland.
