Tony Nardacci, Steve Lounello and Mike Labanowski paced a 16-hit attack with three hits each to lead the Giants past the Black Sox 13-0 Sunday at New Scotland Town Park.
The game was actually a lot closer than the score. The Giants led 2-0 entering the 4th when they pushed across three runs. The Giants then scored 6 in the top of the 6th to essentially put the game out of reach.
A surprising score considering the Black Sox have a formidable lineup and a solid defense. I'm guessing that since it was a 9 a.m. start, the Black Sox were still yawning when the first pitch was thrown.
