Once again Albany will be represented in the Downeast Wood bat classic this weekend in South Portland, Maine.

Entered in the 35 plus division, the Mutts will be comprised of Cubbies Tom Maney, Mash Gadomski, Jonny Martin and California Kid Ted Poleto, Yankees Skipper Don Dunham,Rick Carruso and the usual Maine contingent of Lenny Fox, Cowboy Murph, et al.

Liquor stores have already anticipated a huge spike in revenue in and around the Portland area.

Manager Dunham has set the bar extremely high, essentially saying anything less than a top 5 finish would be deemed a failure, and extremely embarassing to the CDMSBL. An awful lot of pressure to say the least. [did i mention there are only 5 teams in our division]
