Mutts off to good start in South Portland

The Mutts played to a 10 inning, 4-4 tie in game one Saturday against the Seacoast 35's. Time limits prevented game from being completed.

Game two saw the Mutts play a solid game in a 5-3 victory over the North Andover Thunder. Mash Gadomski was the story in this one as he threw the 9 inning complete game. Tom Maney, Jonny Martin and Ted Poleto all had rbi hits in the game, and the Mutts played solid defense behind Mash, who only walked one.

Game one saw the Mutts strand numerous base runners throughout the contest. Maine native Doc through a solid 7 plus on the hill for the Mutts. A few defensive miscues cost the Mutts the victory here.

With a record of 1-0-1, the Mutts swing into action today @ 3:00 for their final round robin game. The venue is The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach, which is a former Minor league park.

Picture perfect weather so far, and the libations are sliding down nicely!!
