Exciting final inning last night in Bethlehem. Orioles ahead 4-3 in the top of the seventh. The leadoff hitter walks and is sacrificed to second. The next batter hits a hard ground ball to short that hits the runner for the second out. Runner on first, two outs.The next hitter drills one into the gap in left field and the Rockets wave the runner home. Shortstop Dennis Buckley gets the relay from left field and throws a strike to homeplate to end the game.

John Pologa threw four innings to pick up the win allowing just one unearned run. Dick Stark led the Orioles offense with two hits and two rbi.

Ken Zimmer pitched well in defeat and chipped in with a double and single. Dave Smith also had a double and single for the Rockets. The Orioles are now 13-2 and the Rockets 9-5-2.
