Giants 7, Black Sox 6

Giants blew a 4-0 inning in the first inning and trailed 6-4 entering the 5th.
Sinlge runs in innings 5, 6 and 7, capped by a bases-loaded single by Dick Stark with no outs gave the Giants the comeback win.

Kreig pitched a heckuva game for the Black Sox, going the distance and stopping the Giants without a hit in innings 4, 5, and 6.

Ralph Caputo's 2-run double to the fence in left highlighted a 4-run 5th for the Sox that gave them a 6-4 lead.

It was an exciting game. Both nines played an inspired game. Oh yeah, Dick Stark hit a three run homer in the first. Giants are a well balanced team and will be tough in the playoffs, where I hope we next meet.
