Giants 7, Dodgers 6

Another nail-biter in the 45+ Division at the Satellite field Sunday.

And, another comeback win for the Giants.
Dodgers pounded out 6 hits in the first 3 innings, including triples by John Corrigan and Nick Kanellis off JimK to go ahead 5-0.

Mike Kane then came on for the Giants and shut down the Dodgers the rest of the way, though the Dodgers went out 3-up, 3-down in just one inning.

Meanwhile, the Giants responded with 4 in the bottom of the 3rd to get back in it, then capped the comeback with 3 in the 6th. Two errors by the Giants in the 7th gave life to the Dodgers, but Kane enduced two grounders to end it.

Kanellis walked, tripled and doubled to lead the Dodgers. Corrigan had a triple and single. Can't read the book that well, but looks like they were the only two Dodgers with multi-hits. If anyone knows how to get Kanellis out, I'll pay for that information!

Steve Lounello had a bases-clearing triple and a single for the Giants. The Giants, now 12-0, also got two hits from Jack Riley, Billy Smith and Mike Labanowski.

It was a great win because the Dodgers were 10-1 enering the game. And, of course, congrats to the NL Giants, who swept the Dodgers over the weekend in San Francisco!

RE: Giants 7, Dodger 5

Final score was 7-6 Dodgers scored a run in the last inning. And the Dodgers did run themselves out of two runs in the 6th which would have had the Giants in a much more precarious situation, but an exciting game overall...

Always fun playing you guys...

Great game, the final was actually 7-6 as the Dodgers scored a run in the top of the 7th and had the tieing run on 3rd, before the Dodger hitter grounded out to 2nd to end the game. Nick Kanellis and John Corrigan each had 2 hits to lead the Dodger offense. Always a pleasure playing the Giants, they are a classy bunch of players.
