A tight game throughout the Black Sox prevail with a 4-1 win. Solomon went the first 5 for the Sox pitching out of several jams and allowing only 1 unearned run and striking out 5. Kreig came in for the top of the sixth, after throwing a complete game in the morning and held the Marlins scorless for 1 1/3 innings. Caputo entered and got a 4-3 out and a K to end the game and put a save on his record. Sohl and Gadomski pitched well for the Marlins, with Sohl picking off 2 Black Sox baserunners. Gadomski scored in the second for the Marlins. In the bottom of the third Tarantino reached on an error, Musella singled and Ramos walked to load the bases for Caputo who ripped a 2 rbi single. Tarantino and Musella scored again in the fifth with Caputo getting an rbi on a single and Phillips driving in the final run on a sac fly. We meet again in a couple of weeks when I suspect the Marlins, who were missing a couple starters, will be rarin' to go at the Sox. Looking forward to the rematch.
