Pirates / Outlaws was suspended due to rain with one out in the bottom of the sixth with Pirates leading 7-6. No details on the makeup / continuation yet.
Cubs beat the Nats 5-3. I believe that the Cubs only managed 5 or 6 hits, but a number of walks in the 1st two innings added up to the 5 runs. The Nats had a 7th inning rally, but fell short. We will be ready for Wednesday.
Pirates/Outlaws will continue from the point where it was suspended. Game will be Thursday August 12th, Rogowitz, 6 pm. Game 3 will occur, if necessary, shortly after the completion on the suspended game. This is a change in the game start time at the request of both managers.
