Darrell Duncan scattered 6 hits, struck out 10, and hit a bases loaded double in the decisive 3rd inning. Jeff Teats also doubled as the WhizKids collected 5 of their 6 hits in that inning. Wayne Newcomb had a double to start the game and scored the Veterans' run.
