The Humminbirds swept a doubleheader from the Orioles last night at Gruner Field in Kingston. The Humminbirds scored 6 unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth to wipe out a 4-0 Orioles lead. Jerry Hawkins had the big blow with a three run double.

In the nitecap Ron Coons scattered five hits and struck out six for the 10-5-1 Birds. The Orioles drop to 15-4.
