Tony Grocki lined a 2-out double to right field in the bottom of the 9th that plated the winning run and lifted the Vets to victory Sunday at New Scotland Town Park.
The Vets came back from a 5-2 deficit, culminated by a run in the bottom of the 7th to force extra innings.
Vets outplayed and outhustled the Giants in earning the victory and evening their record to 8-8. Giants fall to 14-2.
