We will be holding a fund raising golf outing on September 20th at 8AM ( shotgun start) at Saratoga Lake golf course. we are looking for 18 teams of four people each team. Best ball scramble. the proceeds after expenses will go towards improvements and maintenance for the New Scotland and Satellite fields. The cost is $225 per team. payable to the CDMSBL. This is open to all CDMSBL players , friends co-workers...anyone.
We can also help individuals get on teams so if you want to play let me know ASAP

Many improvements have been suggested for these fields including, outfield fencing at Satellite , cages, infield mix, mound and plate rehab, tarps, bullpens , and better benches. Its my hope we can fund some or all this and this is the beginning. Great idea John and Wayne. I emailed my Giants team in hopes of getting three other guys.
Though the Voorheesville fields are used predominantly by the 45s and 55s, players in the younger divisions will be using these beautiful facilities someday. So, it would be great if the 18s, 25s and 35s participated in this event so that by the time they get to the older divisions, they will feel the pride in having contributed to what could be among the elite facilities in the area.
Having a hard time getting guys to take a day off for the Outing, still trying. i myself can't play, as I will be in Myrtle Beach the entire following week, using up my vacation time playing golf, and oh yeah, reading and going to prayer services when I'm not volunteering at the local mission.
