Not suprisingly, there is no info on the web site about the dates, seedings, or venues for the 28 playoffs, or even the make-up dates, times etc. for the last weekend postponements. Makes it tough to plan the rest of our lives. I'm not in a position of authority, but I believe this is what we know. Someone can correct me if neccessary. The seeds we know: Orioles #1 A's #3 Tigers #6 Brewers #7 Mets # 8 Cards #9 Pirates#10 Playoffs start 9/17 at Central Park with 7 vs. 10 and 8 vs. 9 Later that day: 7/10 winner vs 6 and 8/9 winner vs 5 I assume 9/18 would have 7/10/6 winner vs 3 and 8/9/5 winner vs 4 semi's would be weekend of 9/24 finals 10/3. I don't know where for any of these will be played.
Marlins can wrap up 2 seed by beating Yankees, whenever they play. Yankees could finish 4th by winning or 5th by losing. Cubs could be a 2/4/or 5 seed.
Because of the rainouts on Sunday Aug Three games remain that will clear up the seedings. The Marlins play the Yankees at SUNDAY AT 2:30 PM at UALBANY.
ON SATURDAY AT CBA 1:00 CUBS V. METS ON SUNDAY AT CBA 1:00 CUBS V. BREWERS
The Marlins clinch the #2 seed with a win or a CUBS loss. The Yankees clinch the # 4 seed with a win.
